Annual Intake for Admissions into B.Sc.MLT Course:-

B.Sc.MLT Course        –        Competent Authority Quota – 30 Seats & Management Quota – 20 Seats

Application forms through online are inviting for each academic year from the eligible candidates for admission into B.Sc.MLT Course without Entrance Test for the Competent Authority Quota Seats in Colleges affiliated to                                  Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, A.P., Vijayawada.  The Prospectus of the Course, Instructions for filling online application and sample filled-in Application is also available on the University Website http://ntruhs.ap.nic.in

Eligibility for Admissions:-

Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent with Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry or Intermediate Vocational (Medical Lab Technology) or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or Inter with Bridge course of Biological and Physical Sciences or APOSS with Biological and Physical Sciences and should have completed 17 Years of Age as on the date fixed by the University for each academic year.

Candidates qualified 10+2 level of Education in India or Abroad OR in other Boards other than Board of Intermediate Education, A.P., Hyderabad, should take Eligibility / Equivalency Certificate from the Board of Intermediate Education, A.P., Hyderabad.  Candidates requiring Equivalency Certificate be directed to address the Secretary, Board of Intermediate Education, A.P., Nampally, Hyderabad.

Registration:-

A candidate admitted to the course of B.Sc.MLT in any of the affiliated colleges shall register with the Dr. NTR University of health Sciences, A.P., Vijayawada, by remitting the prescribed Registration Fee along with the application form for Registration duly filled in by the candidate and forwarded to the University by the Head of the Institution within one month of admission.

Duration of the Course:-

The duration of certified study for the B.Sc.MLT course shall be four (4) academic years including 1 year of internship.

Medium of Instruction:-

English will be the medium of instruction for the subjects of study and for the examinations of the B.Sc.MLT course.  The text book language for all the subjects of the B.Sc.MLT course is also English.

Attendance:-

A candidate is required to put in a minimum of 85% of attendance in both theory and practicals separately in each subject before appearing for the Examination.
